The SALT MUSEUM in SLĂNIC PRAHOVA is a county museum from this balneo-climatic locality.
   The MUSEUM is organized in "CASA CĂMĂRĂȘIEI", a historical monument, building built at the beginning of the 17th century, the residence of the royal official who was in charge of collecting taxes on salt, which was a royal monopoly.
   The house, with ground floor and first floor, was restored and turned into a MUSEUM in May 2003.
   On the ground floor there are explanatory boards and dioramas, and on the first floor, documents and reconstructions regarding the history of salt processing in SLĂNIC, as well as showcases with crystals and industrial products from salt.
